Agree 100%, love the early mornings, giving it alil fog and it looks very moody without loosing realism Ive been ripping my hair out trying to get more of a umpf feeling around midday but its hard. Midday doesnt look special at all, not even in other games. The things that can give it some better looks would be toying around with bloom, maybe a second bloom shader that instead of my current one (which focus on all colors, with big radius ang low strength) the second could focus on bright spots giving it those sprkling things seen at for example GT Sports intros before a race, which is 100% possible with the shader thats in there. Im looking at having different Eye Adaption solution to get it more intresting too, otherwise its just too bright on some maps. When the latest Beamng update, with the SSAO update, came i had the privilege to recieve info on what file to change to get SSAO changes however i struggled to get my changes to work and havent received a response in that conversation for months. Crimson valley definitely has the right mood.
Can't quite put my finger on it. BeamNG devs seem really defensive about SSAO, tonemapping, etc all of the sudden. And you have seen some files so I think some big things are in the works.
You mean you think we may get a graphics update or something for beam? Or something like that --- Post updated --- --- Post updated --- Yeah I get what u mean but there is only so much you can do. I think if they added some weather to the game or if we got a good weather mod that could help spice up the midday times. ( Or anytime tbh). I've been dying for some realistic weather to drive in and I think it could make the game look really good too.
The new update ruined the graphics mod so it doesn't work anymore, so I was wondering if I should uninstall it. Also @Brother_David, when do you think AL12 could be released?
