As said here Dale Jr's restoration of his dads Nova would be a great place for reference images. You are missing a lot of small detail that a feel would take this mod to the next level. Stuff like the fire bottle, shifter, more period correct wheel little tiny side mirror ... The fuel filler going into the fuel cell, the oil tank, fuel pump ... Side pipes, hood and trunk pins, the fuel vent (little cylinder under the spoiler), windows for the Busch series version, and a bigger spoiler ... Some more engine bay references ... lastly an underbody shot for fun. You should also put filler panels in for the headlights and taillights But in the grand scheme of things these are extremely nit picky that mostly won't effect the experience of driving this awesome car!
oh yeah right btw would moonhawk engine mods be compatible? hopefully i can use the nascar engine mod (https://www.beamng.com/resources/358-ci-nascar-engine.16156/) to add to the realism
Woah! Thanks for these reference pictures! I didn't realize how many small details and such I missed! I'll be adding some of these to the model.
So I made the roll cage more era friendly and to fit a street stock styled car. I also added some more details and hoses under the hood A couple things aren't textured yet so they look black or weird lol sorry
have you considered uv mapping the barstow/bluebuck engine textures onto the engine block? just to give it a bit more illusion of detail.
Just finished up the suspension and its now got adjustable springs, ride height, and camber from left to right sides. I couldn't do the shocks because they caused weird bugs that i'll likely resolve later.
Very nice Mod i love Stock and NASCARS does it have a special v8 sound or the one from the moonhawk ?
No because it uses the moonhawk chassis and body. The body jbeam would have to be rebuilt for that to happen.
