I don't think the wendover is based on the h-body, because those appear to be for cars like the Vega, it looks like it's based more on the e-body (reatta, toronado)
There were two H-bodies, one used on RWD compact cars in the 1970s, and one used on FWD luxury cars in the late 80s and early 90s.
Im wondering what new "feature" will be added with the wendover, as we all know the trend of something new with each car. My thoughts is since the infotainment is such a prominent part of it's interior that maybe it will have a function?
i know, but the wendover still looks more like an e-body car because it shares some characteristics with the reatta and the toronado
The Regal is a W-body, but I do think the Wendover is closest to the W and H bodies. I wouldn't be surprised if it had a sedan body too since nearly every H and W body car came in coupe and sedan variants.
i based my findings on the little 80s render thing of the wendo, and it looks pretty close to a toronado trofeo
https://www.beamng.com/threads/update-speculation-thread.20246/page-1441#post-1297069 this post also shows the similarities with the trofeo and the wendover, down to the badge location on the dashboard yeah I see the resemblance with the W body and the legran, H body too it probably will have a sedan variant considering the fact that when the concept was first released in 2012 it was originally a sedan
I disagree. The reason that the Wendover was changed to a coupe was because the "'80s American FWD Sedan" niche is filled already by the LeGran.
IMO just having a coupe would make it deviate from what we've seen before from these types of vehicles I do see your point though
