Now I really wish I had a better laptop... 4gb r and 1gb vram just ain't gonna cut for these amazing gta maps... >_<
Hopefullly I can drive the gta iv car skins from the fiction police pack and fiction transport. In Gta IV my laptop gives 89fps mostly. but not in beam lol
Northwood, North Holland and East Holland are nearly complete. I'm still fiddling with the colors of the fog and water, trying to get a good halfway point between vanilla BeamNG maps' lighting and GTA IV's lighting.
This looks really awesome! Keep up the great work and tell us if you need help! Patreon perhaps? Also, can I be an alpha tester? Maybe even help you creating the map somehow. I’m a fast learner haha.
People who know me from GTAForums (maybe like 1 or 2 ppl here) know how much of a GTA IV fanboy I am, so I'm in love with this project already! I'd even love to try porting the rest of the map myself just because why not? Sure, it may run at 1fps, but bad optimization is also a part of the GTA IV experience.
From the pictures this looks awesome. I bet whenever it's released a lot of people will enjoy this map. Amazing work!
On the PC port, sure. But for me personally, it ran like a dream on console. God, that game was great.
