Might pick up a model and try and make a jbeam for it, instead of mesh slapping, buuut I don't really know how jbeams are done. In a program perhaps?

Blender is what you need for modeling, and it's free!

Thanks Jer. Already have blender and have picked it up a few times to try and rig for VRChat. When I was younger I thought you had to code each position for the JBeam without actually seeing it. Good to see that it isn't like that at all :p

Jbeams are made using a simple text editor, and a lot of patience

you can also try the easier route which is using NBE but it's just bad imo

Oh, they are? And the NBE is bad? I mean, I have never tried modeling but I know Blender is the #1 thing you need.

Still the case, like LucasBE mentions. The trick is to keep your game open and hit ctr+r every time you made a change. The view of your jbeam can be very obscured sometimes, but that's what it is. Good practice is a good payoff though.

No, jbeam is the structure that makes up the vehicles physically and Blender is used for the 3D model mesh. You need both of those and a lot more to have working cars in BeamNG :)

Can you not say stuff you have no idea about, you are making it seem like Jbeam is easy
