No, a bluebuck based off a impala wouldn’t please some people, my idea personally, I think that if gabe’s basing this off of real car history, he would probably make a spiritual successor to the bluebuck.

A 1958 or 1959 version of the Bluebuck with tailfins and wrap around windshield glass and lot more decorative chrome. Plus a weaker X-Frame to better replicate the results of the 1959 Bel Air used in the IIHS test. The current Bluebuck frame is much stronger than what the real life example demonstrated.

I dont know if the devs have commented on this or not, but I would love to see a purpose built race car or something like that. Right now most cars have racing versions of them and that is perfectly fine but I think it would be cool to have a straight up race car built from the ground up. I really dont know anything they should base it off of in real life but I just like the idea of it. --- Post updated --- Just to add on rq, I wanted to mention again that I have no idea if this is something they would ever consider adding. Right now their main focus seems to be production cars of various different eras but you never know...
