Anti-virus and new update clash

Hi all just wanted to share with you that Bitdefender for example went head on and attacked the beamng exe that came with the new major update. just incase your game is damaged, broken beyond repair or refusing to function this is why. You must restore it from "quarantine" after it's taken there or disable the anti-virus before the update. But best choice is to re-store it. that way it will not mess with it next time.

 

Bitdefender is well known for false positives. Replace it with Malwarebytes or preferably don't use an antivirus at all- they hog system resources and if you're careful online you don't really need one.

McAfee is a virus in itself

 

McAfee, Norton, Avast, AVG, BitDefender be adware, bloatware, RAM hogging, greedy, viruslike, shitty software that everyone should keep away from. Only Windows Defender that comes with Windows 10, and Firewal is needed. Stop losing £80 each year or £8000 every 100 years by giving it to scamlike McAfee.

 

I've gone with only Windows defender for years now, never had any problems. Just don't download from websites you don't trust, don't run shady .exes and you'll be fine. Also, it's unlikely the BeamNG devs randomly decide to include a virus in their newest update.

Na mate, stop being McAfee Shill and Salesman. Windows Defender that comes with Windows 10 does same thing as your "beloved McAfee" and is free. McAfree is also Überpushy in making you buy their shit every bloody year and Great RAM thief unlike Windows Defender. McAfee also makes it Überhard in uninstalling it and even if you do so will leave bits behind. Even John McAfee, who founded McAfee and formerly worked there, tells everyone that they should not buy any McAfee Shitty Wares, and that they should uninstall it. John McAfee has also made guide for uninstalling that shit.
