Hi Windows Defender just came up with a Trojan in the Beamng.Drive .exe

Hi as the title says, I installed the new Update which released yesterday. Today Windows Defender came up with a Trojan in the Beamng.exe, and now I really don't know what to do

 

I am having the same issue.

 

Same issue here with the last Spring update.Windows 10 + Windows Defender on a 1.333.1590.0 virus database version

According to VirusTotal for those antivirus vendors the new beamng exe is detected as a threat :

But eh. It might be a false positive. I guess so

 

Glad im not the only one experiencing this shit..

Updated the game before it gave me these errors:
"Game libarely/folder has a virus/trojan, do not launch!"
"Missing game files"
"Driver disk error"
"Write error disk"

Before steam removed some files (Or perhaps windows defender.)

Diamondback says it's a false positive, so no need to worry. I played the new update last night before Windows Defender detected the "virus," and nothing bad happened.

 

Yeah, I just got the notification on Windows Defender and nearly had a heart attack. So I assume it is just a false positive.

 

It has been fixed with a new update.

 

I confirm. A few minutes after I've discovered the problem the game suddenly updated and the file was now safe for MS defender
