Never happened before until now, missing privliges cannot update BeamNG anymore

All of a sudden I see the updater paused, so i press play to update it. Nothing happens. I have a look around and it is saying that there are missing privileges. I tried to verify files (no issues) I tried to run steam as administrator (no changes) and I checked the game folder in steam for any permission issues but I cannot see any.

Also trying to re-install the game dose not help. I un-installed it thinking it may fix the problem but when it came to the re-installation it could not get past this yet. At the moment.

 

Restarting my PC did the trick for me.

That worked for me two. Along with checking again for windows updates. This time around I had to run updates as well as the graphics card. Once all that was processed the download started again, its 6.2GB because I am doing a fresh install, should be back to it soon
