I'm not toxic at all, actually. I asked a genuine and appropriate question in regards to how this compares with the other BeamNG Multiplayer mod and you came here saying "Just try it yourself and post your opinion here". That my friend is called being toxic.
Feel free to quote me where I said I can't try it for myself. I asked for other people's opinions on it before trying it for myself because that's what you do with new mods and products that you don't know about. Kinda common sense. Anyways, I'm not going to bother replying to you further as it's just derailing the thread and it's clear you're just fishing for an arguement. You have yourself a wonderful day.
I don't think he meant it in any rude way, just saying that due to the unreliable performance of something of this nature, your best bet is to try it for yourself
Ok so, uh, i got this message when i opened beamng (and the bridge) to play multiplayer. The repository was saying that there was connection problems even tho, well,my internet works completely fine. Plus, of course, the Kissmp menu didn't show up. Anyone here has an idea of what is and can help? (sorry if this is offtopic i just thought it would make sense if kissmp was the problem) EDIT: Pressed ''Update all mods'' and it seems to have fixed everything for some reason
I disagree If you can't take criticism or accept that other people's opinion might be better than yours then you're pretty narrow-minded
He's saying the best opinion on a certain product will be the user's opinion. I think this is true, as who is better to judge if they like a product than the person who uses it?
but the player model option is only when you are in walking mode. I want to remove it bc in the "relative" camera, it causes an obstruction and just gets in the way of me seeing things.
Could you also please make it possible to turn the in-car driver model off? As I said in game, it kind of ruins the screenshots for me, because I got used to having cars without a driver in this game.
Heey! We have an update. This one is not huge, it mostly fixes issues we had with 0.3. Buut... It also adds voice chat support! That's right, now you can speak in game using your own voice To turn it on, go to BeamNG settings, Controls, General, and bind a key for the Voice Chat Keep in mind, bridge has to be reinstalled We also have a website now! https://kissmp.online/ Changelog: Voice chat support! Fix most of the issues with driver's heads Add ability to disable driver's heads in KissMP settings
I really didn't want to post this until I was sure I tried everything, and now I believe I have -- can anybody help me get this mod installed? What I've done: 1. Downloaded the newest zip 2. Unzipped it and copied kissmuliplayer.zip (did not change the filename from default, did not extract this .zip) into my /user/documents/BeamNG/mods folder 3. Copied the bridge into the Beam folder (arbitrarily) 4. Ran bridge, allowed it network access, waited until it said "Bridge running" 5. Executed BeamNG 6. Found nothing changed in the menus, nothing in "Play", no server browser or chat window, nothing. I can't find anything related to kissMP when I look for it. Things I've tried to troubleshoot this: 1. I had tried all of this on the previous version (0.34 I think). 2. I have reinstalled BeamNG completely (twice) since the first time I tried KissMP. The second time I reinstalled, I also deleted all my mods (and have removed BeamMP from my system, as I read that BeamMP conflicts with KissMP). 3. I have checked to make sure Windows Defender (my only AV software) wasn't interfering -- it's not. 4. I have tried both BeamNG and the Bridge as my main user as well as administrator. 5. I have re-downloaded/reinstalled KissMP four times Anybody have any clues? Something I missed? I feel like the install instructions are pretty straightforward, and I have never had the bridge say anything but "bridge running".
