After Mrs. Rose's SUV pulled out in front of his truck, Mr. Moss slammed on his brakes and laid on the horn to try to get the SUV to move faster, but instead made Mrs. Rose freeze up while her foot was on the brake, resulting in his truck slamming into the side of Mrs. Rose's Roamer. The T75 was repaired and returned to service a few weeks later, while the Roamer was deemed totaled by Mrs. Rose's insurance company, and because she refused to get a warranty for her car, she ended up having to take the money her insurance company gave her and buy a used 1988 Soliad Wendover 3300 that was also on the Jefferson Motors lot. The GPS device was destroyed during the accident sequence and investigators were unable to extract data from it. Additionally, toxicology testing performed on the driver at the Forensic Sciences Laboratory was negative for carbon monoxide, ethanol, and drugs.
