to be honest its not even a tutorial its literally garbage because I don't have the time to finish the whole series. Make your own models instead of breaking piracy laws and using someone else's work.
That's not all a meshslap is there are two kinds. The trash ones you just said and ones that have modded jbeams and all that.
i mean rename and fit the jbeam to the parts of the car jbeaming is something that is difficult to do so i dont think tat this is a bad idea for a first start.
How many times does this have to be said, IF THE JBEAM IS PROPERLY MODIFIED THEN IT DOESN'T COUNT AS A MESHSLAP ANYMORE, and that would be the proper way of making this mod I think
It's worth pointing out that the Oldsfullsize is a (very) advanced Grand Marshall meshslap, dazy's Satsuma started out as an edited Covet jbeam, amongst various others over the years. Even Nadeox1 did the Crown Victoria which was a GM underneath. Don't discourage people from learning and finding their feet. My first mod was the Blackfoot, which to nobody's surprise was an advanced Hopper meshslap - but was still surprisingly popular, and put a smile on people's faces. I look forward to seeing this progress, whether it's put on a modded D Series JBeam or not. Meshslapping, when done right and with credit, is a good way to get people into modding. Nobody can be expected to pull everything straight out of the hat! I'd suggest that if you were to go the D Series route, to make custom JBeams for different parts here and there until you're happy with what you have. I'd suggest we stop derailing the thread for the forum mods to clean up. If you don't like the idea of this mod, find one that you do, and comment on that one instead.
This is not meant in a confrontational way just an educational way but I can be very blunt. Crediting giants mod software and no one else is not at all correct, Giants S. from my understanding have never released anything Chevrolet branded to my knowledge so its obviously been downloaded as a mod or a model you stole else where. Don't think I really need to touch on that one for hopefully obvious reasons. Link to source post as the post number didn't appear to link to correct post(I likely messed it up but eh) https://www.beamng.com/threads/mods-section-rules-updated-july-2020.61804/ This was in the corsa thread by accident... whoops.
Bruh I'm 17 and I was rlly disappointed you stopped the vids.. I was excited cause there's like no good instructional videos... I've been wanting to make like beamng stock quality mods but I don't even know where to begin so I was looking forward to ur vids
I Its all good bro, idk id u saw in the bmw e24 post but I've been kinda modeling a few things... trying to find my feet in blender again, ever since the etk-R series I was working on, I kind of fell off.. trying to start back small and work my way in this time instead of going all out, that was im not destined to fail...
The way i was saying in the video just take the engine jbeam from the automation car and rename it to what yoyu want your engine called and then rename the flexbodies as well. Openig the automation blender file will take a while but when its open its worth it. if you need help just send me the jbeam. And i would recomend copying the jbeam so that you can use it again incase you mess up. --- Post updated --- Thats what ui was trying to say but people have to start from somewhere you know what im saying?
I would recommend naming it something more simple like "silver". --- Post updated --- It does have the f-150 meshslap...
