I mean, seeing as this isn't our job... pretty much the answer is always "I don't know"... probably speaking for most to all mod makers there. I wish I could give an answer... but real life is a mess and makes things complicated... so, I just don't know.
Oh don't worry, unless something catastrophic happens, this WILL get released. you've got to remember, this thing has been in production for well over three years.
...which is why US casualties were initially much higher than expected when Humvees were exposed to enemy fire. Troops were taking them into combat as if they were armored. That plus the IED threat led to multiple up-armor programs which welded more and more armor onto a chassis not designed for it. They were now armored, sure, but far too heavy for the drivetrain to handle. Engines broke down, brakes overheated on descents, and generally everything had a much-reduced life. This is why it's important to use purpose-built MRAPs and not press what are essentially rear-area logistics vehicles into a combat role. Sorry, slight tangent. I'm just much happier the US is actually using things like the JLTV instead of the M1113.
i mainly meant the strengthend chassis and gun armor as a suggestion because i thought it would look cool
