I think I know why you didn't... there's performance, then there's price but The Long Goodbye managed this too...
I mostly got the 3900x because i would have needed a new board on top of that too since i only have a x370 board
its gpu stuff is accurate but that's about it. is anybody actually faster than my score of 507 per second? i mean there's gotta be a better score.
...when they are mad about how low their score is but yeah, I agree, any tech info must be taken with a grain of salt, as it could be affected by other parts in the system, etc. I just look to it as a guide towards expected real-world performance, because I certainly do not have the extra cash to try all the parts myself.
Exel sheet: https://www.beamng.com/threads/banana-benchmark-results-comparison.8595/page-49#post-1047156 Sorry if I gave anyone an unwanted notification.
Well, there were people with 3900Xs who got a higher score, the highest being some guy with a 7th gen i9. I think there must be a way for you to get a higher score out of that cpu. (yes i do know youre not actually going to get a 5950x)
Got my memory running at 3600, no CPU overclocking, CPU-Z still showing 4197-4200.5 during the test, got my Max Mbeams/s up to 460.828. I'm pretty sure I saw 480 before enabling virtualization and BAR resizing in BIOS so there may be some more gains with further tweaking.
my cooler is fine, I don't actually run overclocks i just did it for the bananabench. under normal use I get 65c on 100% usage.
Well, I spent about an hour on my first attempt at overclocking in 20+ years. Got my score down from a 460 to a 318. Turns out I might need a little more reading and practice. I've got a decent AIO, good paste, and my thermals are fine so I can't blame the hardware.
The last time i tried ryzen master i went a bit over my cpus ability and now it just crashes my pc when i start it
No, you can force the benchmark to check for more cars (and even change vehicle, but vehicles different from the standard one won't be counted). I still have to find out how but Car_Killer is not the only person to have results with > 20 vehicles.
