License plate RNG broken

Hello everyone,

The new update seems to have broken all of the number generation patterns for every single plates, including the official ones. Every single plate is given a AAA-0000 number combo instead of the combo dictated in the game files. For example, the official Italian plates are supposed to be in the AA 999 AA format, but they are not.

What's going on with that?

 

Has this ever been a thing? I'm pretty sure my plates has always been the same format, regardless of map.

 

Different license plates have different formats.
N = number
L = letter
red letters = fixed, appears on every generated plate
California - NLLLNNN
Germany - BNG L NNNN, BNG LL NNN, BNG LL NN (BNG = BeamNG)
Hawaii - LLL NNN
Italy (1994-present) - LL NNN LL
Italy (1927-1976) - NNNNN NT (NT = Norte), NNNNNN NT for police cars
Maine = NNN-LLL
New Zealand - LLLNNN
Texas - LLL-NNNN
Utah - LNN NLL
Virtual Reality - NNNNN-name of the car´s folder in the game files

 

Nope.

German plates followed this format: BNG : A 123
Modern Italian plates followed this format: AB.123C
Old Italian plates followed this format: NT 12345

 

This is not true.

 

It happens when plate text is randomly generated through Vehicle Customization menu.

Nope, the formats worked as they were supposed to prior to the big update.
