WIP Beta released Openable Mod 0.6.0

Aah makes sense, sucks a bit but i still love the mod. it improves the game alot

 

The best mod I've seen in the game!

 

I also wanted to say that any roof accesory can break the doors mechanism on Covet, (ETK 800 is broken itself) Sunburst, and Wendover.

 

So i must mess with my cars files and make all of them indestructable... But it is doable to make another additional mod slot (i seen that in Weight Reduction mod who added another slot in all cars and it worked flawessly)

 

Why don't you just use the Indestructible Engine Blocks & Adjustable NOS mod? You won't need to use the additional modification slot with it.

 

Suggestion: Please fix the fact that after respawning the car it gets damaged and the windows break.

Which car? The 200BX is fixed in v0.3, just awaiting approval again.

I must be missing something here, I've installed the Mod, but there's nothing called "Openable Mod" showing up in any vehicle modification slot, in the vehicle customisation section. I'm guessing when you say "assign", your saying to go to the additional Modification option and select "Openable Mod"?.

I thought maybe it's the car I've chosen, so I made sure to select a car that's been highlighted in green, in the car list. Strange thing is, some of the highlighted cars don't even seem to have a "additional modification slot, and the ones that do, don't have Openable Mod option.

I'd really appreciate any help, many thanks in advance.

 

When I made my mod, I had a problem when the door opened completely the glass broke, I had to change the" jbeam " glass.

 

Honestly would love to see Wentward get its own triggers - The rear panels and the hood, as well as the doors, though I have no clue if the doors can be opened separately

 

Please read previous replies. I have already fixed issues with glass.

It appears that the mod isn't installed correctly since you don't have controls showing in the top right.

BTW you can acting with doors (even from driver's place) when pan with right mouse button and point the red switch to center of the screen TO GREENISH APPEAR and after press the left mouse key (without actually having mouse pointer at the screen).

Finally I've understood why that green box was implemented.

And you can next update add sounds doors hund trunk open/close ?

 

It would be great prohibited to leaving/entering the car without doors opened (to block F button functionality).

I've also just noticed that some of the Vivace configs like to fall apart lol

 

I gotta say this is amazing! Good job.

 

Ok, so it also appears that roof accessories are breaking the mod, including light bars
Should be a simple fix hopefully

 

@Jamie599 can i suggest you this?
Instead of putting the openable mod in the Additional Modification slot, you could put it in the Body Slot, so, for players, could be more comfortable, instead put them in a slot which can be used for lightbars and additional modifications...
I hope this suggestion could be useful =)
