Oh never mind then, i've only driven the car once so i cant really remember the dash layout. In the teaser picture dash seems a lot brighter making it easier to see the details that i couldn't make out in the current picture --- Post updated --- well that explains it, last time i speculate on something
lmao the fact you have to clarify this proves that the threads users have zero clue what they're even looking at
oh my god i just found my old post about the Moonhawk, I demand thy Dev's to obey my Moonhawk commands !
So, what do the vocal people think about the latest DCT changes? Didn't see any of the usual hate posts yet, makes it look like it works better than before?
Speaking about the lighting, it looks super good. I use AL13, so I forgot what the vanilla lighting looks like, but the lighting in this video looks much better than what I remember, especially in the clip with the pickup.
It seems better to me, I didn't encounter any problem with the DCTs since the last update. Thanks for the improvements.
At this point the Bolide should be removed from the game entirely to spite the people who INSIST that a remaster is coming
I mean there isn't anything stopping the devs from having major body panel changes to reflect an older variation, look at the differences between both wendover model years as an example. Have a look at the 1975 308 vs the 1985 308 model years. the basic body hasn't changed but quite a few minor changes have. Add different doors with older door handles, different marker lights, different bumpers, rounded headlights, some minor interior changes, detuned engines, different taillights, etc. The Moonhawk has more in common with the Soliad Wendover than it does the Gavril Barstow. it's more of a personal luxury coupe which was popular at the time (think Chevrolet Monte Carlo, Mercury Cougar,Chrysler Cordoba etc).
haha long stratos go stututututututtu vroom in dirt --- Post updated --- anyways gridmap revamp might come in the next hotfix i think it loooks finished i hope we can get an archived pre-revamp gridmap
I can't remember the last time we got a major piece of content like that in a hot fix. It'll probably be in the summer update.
anyways gridmap revamp might come in the next hotfix or s Might add bugfixes and new features. so i guess you are correct
This is very true IMO. It might be a bit too far into reverse-psycology or something, but, let's say that many people in the community are talking about a certain car getting a revamp, and you, as a dev, are not working on that at all (hypothetically speaking). But you don't want to turn people down by simply saying "We're not going to release Bollide revamp in next update" (again- hypothetically!!). So, the perfect way to do it is to show a regular Bollide in your teaser video, along with a really cool map! (Which I really love the look of). Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again- certain cars have much more need for a remaster. Covet's engine bay looks pretty outdated (as do both Pessimas and 200bx), and basically all old Ibishu's could really use some new texturing and modeling, just as much (if not more) than the Bollide, and remastering them is more efficient, as Covet and Pessima share many parts (like the Garvil engine and other parts which got remastered, and are now shared between D series, H series, GM, Roamer). However, if I'm wrong, the Bollide revamp would be really sweet!
or alternatively, they develop features and content on separate builds of the game, then only merge everything once they're ready to release an updates. the map artists don't need a half-finished rework of the bolide, nor do the vehicle artists need a half-complete gridmap.
