Weren't they used as taxis for the physically disabled? Whatever, that rear cargo area looks like the perfect spot to install a spa.
The one in their picture has two wheelchair stickers and some text that's presumably about disabled access, so I'd say so.
How could I forget one of my most hated new car designs ever: (imported from here) (imported from here) It's "sculptural" or something. Looks like it's been in an accident. What's up with the semicircular crease above the front wheel arch? Why is that there?
Fiat Idea (1st gen.) Dat steering wheel tho ---------- Renault Twingo (1st gen.) Another fancy steering wheel ---------- Fiat Mille (Brazil only) Dashboard... No comments PS: The engine is a 4 cylinder 1000cc.... ---------
The front wheel arch doesn't look bad to me, but the headlights... And that grille is the most hideous I've seen.
Guess what? It's not stolen from any silly Holden at all, it barely even looks similar, apart from the generic shape of the black plastic. It's "stolen" from the 2008 Lexus IS250, and then they changed the bottom half a bit for the next generation. Research before you claim Why would they copy Holden anyway? There's not much point, Holden is a way cheaper, less luxurious brand than Lexus, they don't compete for the same customers... What baffles me more than the extra line around the wheelarch though, is why they made the hipline on the fender just suddenly change direction and bow inwards, when they could've made it continue into the corner of the light, or even continued it into the line around the wheelarch... Also, I think that Holden Monaro is quite a cool car to be honest. Design is rather clean, not messy. I can see why people don't like it, it's quite a bulge-bold thing that looks like it's molten. But the ugliest car ever? :/ Seems a bit exaggerated. 2008 HSV is cool too, dont't like the black plastic on the 2009 one.
The new VF Calais is actually being compared to new Mercedes, Lexus and BMW sedans. Its half the price, it doesn't have all the useless little nick-nacks but its classy as fuck. I'd post a pic but kind of the wrong thread.
Eww, they ruined it with that face lift, it looked a million times better before. (imported from here) I've seen quite a few of these irl and they look great...
To be fair to the french while there have been a couple nasty designs there are plenty of appealing ones too. DS3 (James may likes it ): Renault clio: I got to say i couldn't find a single good looking modern Peugeot, the rcz is pretty good but they did the whole Hyundai matrix thing. I guess they got close... Anyway, onto ugly cars: The older fiat puntos: Ford fusion: Renault kangoo: (ok there are some really revolting french cars, did they get a 3 year old to draw the windows?)
That reminds me, some months ago in Scarborough (Toronto) I spotted a fairly new BMW 5 series with that horrid cheap plastic fake chrome trim ALL OVER. What a sore sight to behold. Poor Bimmer never got the chance to chose its owner.
I hate the Smart Car, but i have always liked the Little Tikes version (Most probably the only version i would drive) (imported from here)
