Looking good dude! Can't wait to drive this car with the Blista Compact and the Vapid Cruiser that was converted as well
I am the Aveo King, you screw this up and I'll shame you. After that I'll learn Jbeam and fix it. If not, then you will be knighted as the "One Guy Who Made a Decent Aveo-ish Addon" And as for the aveo, sedan and hatchback, of 2006-8 (as this one is clearly based off of), they are metal bubbles with working components attached. The GM has a frame, it is not the right Jbeam to use, although everything sort-of lines up. The Aveo, and Asea, have rear torsion suspension and independent front suspension. They are both front wheel drive, both have a 1.6l I4 engine pumping out around 110bhp, both have a low center of gravity and can take corners pretty fast, and both have a top speed of 120 mph.
How do I create normal??? He means that are a few problems with the smoothing (probably the model is like that itself, GTA IV models are way worse on that side) (imported from here) Split some edges or something.
@skiper do u even know what normals is? it's those who decide where the reflection is strongest on each vertice. and since ur model have wrong normals which makes the car look like it has lots of dents, then it's not done correctly
Xbox discs are DVD and can be browsed on a PC. If you can read the filesystem, you can rip the model data. In fairness, some of that could be down to the model itself, the GTA vehicles arent the highest poly in order to be able to draw them all on screen properly.
You know, I've heard his maps criticised for quality. But the last vehicle port he did mesh wise was pretty damn good, I'm fairly certain any issues with the mesh will be from rockstar and not him, his last vehicle wasn't perfect on the JBeam front but was a good start and we have Ilya on it too. My honest opinion, this will turn out as a decent mod.
Yeah, I said that most of the GTA Models having smoothing problems before. You can fix it by adding edge splitting or doing that manually.
All these GTA cars are cool as long as their done well and I don't mind em". If they are crap and full of laziness I will most certainly howl about it. In the end it's my choice to download or not and there is nothing...I mean nothing that can beat the original dev vehicles.
