Released Mt.Shell 1.2

Originally made for Rigs of Rods, then ported into BeamNG with a huge twist. Never been so good.

Did you read all of his comment?
"It Isn't asking me for a password when i download it"
Read it before you reply "read it before you post" kinda hypocritical :p

I cannot install this map for the life of me. I have tried reading your FAQ installation instructions, and other comments in this thread, but nothing helps. Can someone give me step by step instructions on installing this map? thanks

    Nicely done!
I had some problems with the installation, but one of the files was corrupt, it probably downloaded wrong.
    But it works now!

My computer finally allowed me to play this map, and it's a good one! It has nice roads and a cool atmosphere. The journeys up to the top and down to the bottom are a little more difficult than I would have expected as well (while pushing the limits of course ). Overall, this is a very good map in my opinion and I'm glad that this map finally started up properly for me :).

Also, the different performance settings were very helpful for me. My FPS went from 15~ to 25-30 (changing the "MtShell.mis" from "Default" to "Medium"/"Low") on the highest graphics settings without any PostFX. I increased it to 35-40 just by reducing the "Lighting Quality" from "High" to "Normal" too :).

My first journey up was slightly... rough.

But I did manage to get back to the starting point at the bottom with only a broken taillight :).
(in the Civetta Bolide, after numerous wrecks... :p)

Ive found that if i leave all the graphics settings the same, except reducing lighting quality from high to normal, my fps goes up dramatically. Must be all the light posts :D

Try deleting it from your "levels" folder entirely. Extract the files again, delete the "MtShell.mis" file that's already in the "MtShell" folder (don't keep the folder labeled "MtShellForBeamNG"), replace it with one of the other available options that's in the "Setup" folder, then delete that folder and try to load it again. I hope this works for you. :)

Get WinRar (There is a free trial). 7Zip is an alternative and is totally free.

Winrar is easier and if the trial runs out it just bugs you :p doesn't even try to uninstall it!

Have you followed the instructions on how to install it correctly? Those errors happens if you put the folder as it is, instead of doing the procedure I described on the first post..

Thanks for a great map! Just right for rallying, so couldn't resist the urge to post a video about it.

Should be in the BeamNG Directory (Steam > Steamapps > common > BeamNG). I'm not sure if it's still there in the newest version of Beam. You can skip that passage if you can't find it.
