Hello everyone, I'm trying to make the baja d-series suspension for the roamer for no real reason other than I want to. I ran into a problem though any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to attach 2 nodes in the jbeam and cant figure out how, my previous attempts only crash the game. here is a picture of what I'm trying to do- In this picture I coupled the 2 nodes on the tops of the shocks to the frame rails with the in-game node coupling system. everything else works. I just cant figure out how to mount the top of the shocks to the frame in the jbeam.
The fs1l and fs1r nodes are the top coil mounts for the independent suspension in suspension_F.jbeam. copy and paste the node info and all beam info for those two nodes. Then just use those two nodes as your top shock mounts. As far as crashing the game after inputting your own nodes is most likely because of misplaced " " , { } [ ] --- Post updated --- Correction fs1 nodes are in the frame.jbeam --- Post updated --- Fs1 beams are in the suspension
Dang. Were you altering the official files or did you create a new file? If you made a new file, did you locate it in the mods folder or did you leave it in the official vehicles file? I'm asking because I am curious how the update deleted it and I also want to make sure that doesn't happen to my stuff in the future.
Yeah the migration deleted random files from my unpacked mods too, I think the only way to keep them safe is to have them packed while the migration process happens.
