Did that as well, no problems.

I just discovered that if I select "spawn new" instead of "replace current", the game doesn't crash! Strange huh?
The Focus does load, but no engine present anymore, so some fiddling to do again!

The red car is another mod I made which still works suprisingly!

I could be wrong but I think that the devs modified the sunburst jbeam or changed something in jbeam in general. Again I might be wrong but I think that is what is wrong

Very strange. Oh well, I'm glad the game works again.

The red car is something I made up, a fictional car. I like the layout of the Alfa Romeo Alfasud, with a boxer (flat four) engine.
So I started with a Covet and highly modified the body and engine so that it looked good, as it is a personal project. That's why there's no topic on this car. I'll maybe share this car once it is finished.

Try clean reinstall, your game files could be corrupted. But good that the mod works.

I know I'm late, but is there an expected release date for this mod?

Did you fix it? I got the same problem i cant spawn any cars without the game crashing.. Is there a solution to this? This started happening right as i downloaded an old mod that got a hotfix last year.

Sorry for going a little bit off topic but im kind of in a hurry and you seemed to have the same problem so i thought i should ask you.

Solved: sorry for this stupid post everyone. For people having the same problem try verify integrity as it would usually fix it. atleast it will hopefully help someone.

OH YES! after some minor adjustments it works again as it did before all the updates.
Now time to improve the JBeam structure, interior model etc.

Yes it already has custom wheels which are modelled after the original 16 inch standard alloys.

Good to see this mod being worked on again :) The lighting on it does look a tad funky I think but I can't put my finger on what it is exactly, although it looks like it could do with some fresh textures or UVs or something, especailly the headlights, other than that, it's looking good, keep it up bud :)

Yes the headlights are very basic, so don't look superb.
Also the front bumper of the standard model does look a bit weird sometimes, as well as the left rear quarter, which looks very different from the rest of the car when it's in the shadows. Not sure what causes this.

Lots of other things to fix/change as well. I think I can admit this project was and still is extremely ambitious and very difficult to get better from this stage. The "basic" stuff I've done untill now I do understand, but proper texturing and UV mapping is something I still know nothing about.

Also the JBeam adjusting sometimes won't go as planned, and sometimes I'm not sure why either. The rear lights manage to break after a small bump and then they wiggle all over the place. I've tried adjusting beamstrength and dampening, as well as adding beams and making the support structure stronger, but everything I do doesn't change the problem.

Just some small things of the large amount of things to do and what I'm struggling with. Keep in mind that I have no professional experience with computers at all and I know nothing about programming.

But when something DOES work, it brings a smile after the countless hours of work and frustration :)
