Maximum damage sensor values

    Is there a maximum value for the values of damage or damageExt in the Damage sensor? I've inspected the docs in BeamNGpy and the code in $BEAMNGHOME/lua/vehicle/beamstate.lua and there doesn't seem to be. Additionally, what is the difference between damage and damageExt?

    That sensor's value is based on the deformation of beams, which does not really have an upper bound and thus no maximum damage. Its significance also varies based on the vehicle as, naturally, smaller deformations matter less in a larger vehicle. Damage and damageExt differ in that damageExt includes damage done to parts not represented purely as beams, such as the engine. The utility of these values is highly dependent on your use case.
