xbox one controller question

what I need to connect the xbox one controller with the pc, need I a mini usb plug ?? or that what is on the bottom of the xbox one controller ?? THANKS for every post

 

mini usb on the top of controller between the bumpers. I use a 10 foot USB I got from my local gas station for 9 bucks. doesn't work so well for anything else like charging my GS4 or vaporizer, but works fine for the controller.

i downloaded xbox one drivers for the controller but i cannot get it to work bloody annoying

 

I have installed the x64 drivers on win 7 , then I made this scripts/client/inputmaps and put the xbox one document in it, then I plugged in my mini usb cable in the usb thing and in the controller, restart my pc and it still worked in beamng drive

yeah i installed both x32 and x64 drivers on windows 7 but my pc shows its connected but has the yellow triangle error icon on it and wont work and wont even show up in my windows game controller options

 

Right click the device and view its properties. It should give the error under the device status window.

 

And what about xbox 360?

 

Official ones work already

 

i got it working i had to install official windows updates one of them contains he xbox one controller drivers and it now works like a charm
