Because my old laptop was so slow it couldn't run chrome, and when I switched to Edge, I couldn't see any differences that made Edge worse than Chrome. There probably are differences, but they don't affect my internet usage enough that I notice them.

 

wut? edge and chrome are basicaly the same thing in the sense they are both based on chromium
