Moving stuf

Hello,
I'm very new to modding.
I'm currently modyfing Utah map to add more fide cliff trails.
I managed to raise/lower/smooth the ground.
I managed to add more rocks. (under forest)
BUT : I don't know how to move these blocs once added. I mean, fine tuning. each time i'm able to move them they are "jumping"...

Try disabling the snap options in the main toolbar?

Now i'm trying to rotate the objects. Any good advice to provide?

Hi, I made some progress.
I'm able to add/delete/size rocks/trees.
Alsoi able to change the terrain shape.
Add road decalls.

But unfortunately, I'm not able to move grass. I was able to hide the layer on the object tree, but I don't know how to move grass. I want to move some of the grass out of the trail. And I don't know what is the tool to do that.

 

Grass isn't "moved". It's vegetation. I think you delete it with the forest editor.

 

I'm not able to select or delete grass using the forest editor.

 

It's easiest to paint over the grassy terrain with a non-grassy one. Ground covers can be deleted and customized in SceneTree > Level_objects > vegetation.
