    Hi everyone
Since yesterday I've been using a laptop instead of my usual gaming PC
specs are an i7 4700MQ at 2.4 ghz, 8gb of ram and a Nvidia gtx 765m on windows 8.1
When I've booted up Beamng today its really laggy and the fps is about 10
However yesterday it was running fine (don't know fps but it was at least >30) with multiple vehicles and high graphics settings
Changing the quality settings doesn't noticeably improve performance
In the options settings it says it's using intel graphics drivers and although I read that with Nvidia optimus it can do that (I think the laptop is running optimus) there is no load on the GPU and the Nvidia gpu activity icon in the toolbar is showing no activity
Since yesterday the only thing I've changed is installing new drivers for the graphics (could this be the problem?)
In the drop down menu for graphics drivers in the options menu theres nothing other than the intel one
and pausing the physics doesn't change the fps by much, only 1-2
This laptop has been running Just Cause 2 for most of the morning on full settings with no problems so I don't believe its short on power, and as I mentioned it was fine yesterday

    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance :)

I had a similar problem you have to go to NVidia control panel select manage 3D settings pick BeamNG and set it to run on high performance NVidia processor apply then
    test BeamNG

    Hope this helps.

I found the settings but instead of Beamng it just had launcher.exe
I did change the settings but the performance stayed the same and it still isnt using the gpu

Edit - going into the file location and right clicking on the actual beamng drive application (rather than the launcher) and selecting the gpu to launch with works, but only for that launch and trying to change the default graphics device for the actual application the nvidia control panel appears to not recognise it
