Upgrade to Ryzen 5 1600AF

Hello! I'm planning to upgrade my old FX-6100 setup to:

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF
Motherboard: MSI B450-A PRO MAX, socket AM4
RAM: HyperX Fury Black 8GB, DDR4, 2400MHz, CL15, 1.2V
I have Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER 4GB и Seasonic 430W

Is that going to be enough to run 3-4 cars at the same time 60FPS@1080p at medium graphics?

EDIT: Maybe Ryzen 5 3500X is a better choice?

 

The i5 10400f is right around the same price
and is about as powerful as the r5 3600 so
if you can I'd go with that.

 

I just ordered the Ryzen 5 3600.

 

Much better choice than a 1000 series.

 

I have the same CPU. It's a great choice (not so much since the release of 11th gen i5 CPUs but anyway), it'll run BeamNG wonderfully.

 

But do go with 16 gigs of RAM at 3200 megahertz

 

I just got it today and I'm happy with the performance!
But for now I have 8GB DDR4@3200MHz.

 

For better performance in BeamNG, and just in general, I would definitely upgrade to 16GB. You should get the same brand, and definitely the same speed.
