I decided I wanted to try to Import some locations from GTA V and because I love modding games so much, I have OpenIV which contains pretty much everything from assets, to car models, map models, buildings, props etc etc. One location I found easy to import was this small parking lot in Rockford Hills area. I do not have plans to expand this area so do not ask however I do have plans to make more areas other than Rockford Plaza. Images: Credits: Me - importing the map area. Me - testing, finding bugs and issues. Rockstar Games - assets/models/materials Known Issues: The metal guardrails are sticky. Some floor textures are incorrect, such as the arrows and exit signs. If you find any issues what so ever, please let me know. This is my FIRST official released map. I have made maps before but never made them public or made them official maps. I love fiddling with world editor. I am most certainly going to import more maps other than GTA V. Tools used To Export Into .dae ZModeler v3.1.2. OpenIV
This is awesome. The collection of gta maps is now increasing and are getting better each day. Also, what do you mean approval to release? Are you asking rockstar for permission to release?
He was going to upload it to the repo, but instead released it here. It wasn't approved on the repo most likely because it's from GTA, and it's not really lore friendly, that's what i think anyway.
Well yes and no. The moderators must go through the mod page and accept it into the repo, though since this clashes with copyright infringement, the moderators can't do so and let it into the repo.
