What happened to garage mode?

What happened to garage mode, it suddenly disappeared?

 

No its been gone

 

If you wanna go to garage map, go to:
THE PLACE THAT YOU INSTALLED GAME IN THERE/Beamng.drive/content/levels/garage then open info.json file, then in the last line you'll see this:
"hidden": true
You can change the true to false. Then you can play in the garage map

Beam devs decided to remove the Garage option because it never really got anywhere.

 

Garage mode was temporarily removed in 0.19 because the developers were revamping it.

 

Can't wait for it to return

 

I did it but how do you get to the garage in game cause I don't see it anywhere ?

 

If you did this:

The map should appear in the freeroam map selector. If it doesn't appear, you did something wrong.

 

This is interesting stuff, I wonder if they're making it more like Street Legal/Revhead where the interactions with parts are more direct, rather than through the parts menu.

Would tie in nicely with career mode, especially since we probably won't have access to the parts config/vehicle spawn menu like we do in Freeroam.
