I replaced the Ibishu Pigeon motor with a Wentward DT40L motor according to this instruction, but when I drive the motor it stays in one place. I changed Location, Rotatiaon, Scale in Blender but it didn't get the result. What am I doing wrong?
How can it move if it's not even attached to the car?? Did you just copy+paste the files without actually changing anything?
It won't solve it, it requires way more fixing, I would do it but it would mean making 90% of the mod for you, you need to learn it yourself. Yes the model should be moved to where you want it in the Pigeon, and after that you apply location and the rest, but then you need to change a lot of your Jbeam if you want it to work. Also your engine model is missing many parts like the exhaust, pipes, turbo, transmission, belt, etc.
There are some beams left from the Pigeon transmission mounts because for some reason they are parts of the frame on it, and it makes the whole thing behave weird
I put the original transmission, exhaust, supercharger, etc. from Pigeon in JBeam file. I've tried moving the engine in Jbeam: Code: ,[]{"pos":{"x":0,"y":-4.5,"z":0}} The car drives but the engine still stays in place
Because physically the engine is still behind the car, you need to move all of the nodes, and also change all of the beams to attach it
I don't think there is one on the wiki, and I can't find the one on the forums, idk where it has gone, there's another one but not too well explained: https://www.beamng.com/threads/tutorial-how-to-do-engine-swaps-with-pictures.56000/
For some reason, the engine is positioned correctly in the guide, but not for me. Although I set Location, Position, Scale in Blender as it says.
You could just copy the default engine and only change the model and the engine section of the Jbeam and leave the rest
