hey @falefee ! I just wanted to wish you good luck on this project and ask you if you planed to smooth the slopes and the polygons that will betray the fact that the game is starting to age and the level design is about to become a pain in the *ss in such a realistic game (i'm thinking of the railroad around silverlake and i truly hope it will be ridable/ jumpable without colliding into some textures ^^) thank's for the concept anyway!!
Just wondering, this sounds like a sweet idea! But how resource intensive will it be? Only asking because I have a not so great computer by today's standards.
Sorry for the late reply. We're working on making the map as optimized as possible. As long as you can run stock BeamNG maps (West Coast USA, Italy, etc), then you shouldn't have a problem running BeamNG Paradise.
This mod had a huge amount of momentum earlier on so I would like to believe that this mod isn't 100% dead. more like just on hold.
it is on hold. as its a volunteer project the momentum is due to the dream of it. id love to test my custom cars in paradise city.
I’m more than certain game updates make things more and more difficult. They can break textures and part of the maps, for example. Hell, last summer was the PBR update and they were probably like “Well shit, now we gotta add PBR to everything.”
