Yes, the SVX is back! Very happy with this, because there’s a lot that needs to be fixed.

Example: the automatic gearbox decided not to work with one of the previous updates, rip

    Imagine having a rwd conversion:oops:
Here are some examples for a rwd config:)

Yesterday I watched Doug DeMuro's video on this Subaru and imagined how great it would be if there was a highly detailed mod of this car in BeamNG Or ETS2.

And today i opened the Forum's and here it is!

Why does the car drive so slow? I can barely even get it past 30KPH before it maxes out.

I'm not sure what issue you're having, the version on the previous page (here) lets me get past 100mph.

Could be that your torque converter is put in the wrong one. There are 2 torque converters and one of them dont work properly.

I still haven't posted the update yet, still working on it, but either only the act-4, fwd, or vtd transfer case works in that version. I would just use different ones for now

The brakes overheat too easily, please use sport brakes and sport/semi-race pads.
The torque converter is too stiff, the stall RPM(at stop full brake full gas) should be approximate 2300~2700
In the 4AT please remove the "useSmartAggressionCalculation" or set it to true, otherwise it upshifts too early and S won't work. I can lend you a hand tuning the 4AT gearbox(PRND321), using the code from this mod.
The ACT-4's code is probably from this mod, there's a improved version here. I can lend a hand tuning the diff logic, both the VTD and the ACT-4.
The VTD is similar to the ACD in the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution (both differential + electronically controlled multi-plate clutch), the only difference is that the default(clutch disengaged) torque distribution 36:64 in the VTD and 50:50 in the ACD. The ACT-4 on the other hand, the front axle is fully connected, the electronically controlled multi-plate clutch moves torque to the rear, thus the rear wheel is not able output torque when spinning faster than the front, making it understeery. More explanation about differentials.

I haven't touched it in a week or two, but this is its current state. Link for anyone who wants to use the svx in it's current state: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rhSvbX24IhVhUeb4VYG6uhC4SVmGE0r6/view?usp=sharing

From my understanding, ACT-4 is simply a bunch of hydraulic lines changing pressure of a multi-plate clutch that varies when one side of the differential turns faster than the other. VTD is ACT-4 but with an electronically controlled planetary center differential. The systems are even swappable, with people putting the center diff from a phase 2 4eat with vtd in a MPT phase 2 4eat and only changing the tail housing.

Also, from what I see, the only problem with turning useSmartAggressionCalculation on is that the SVX's 4eat is programmed to upshift at 6200 rpm before it hits it's 7000 rpm redline which uSAC seems to ignore

Nope, that's the "calculateOptimalLoadShiftPoints" set it to false and then define the "highShiftUpRPM" and "highShiftDownRPM" manually

    oh, forgot which one interfered
    --- Post updated ---
Also, right now, all I'm using for ACT-4 is this
    "powertrain" : [
    ["type", "name", "inputName", "inputIndex"],
    ["differential", "transfercase", "gearbox", 1, {"diffType":"lsd", "lsdPreload":150, "lsdLockCoef":0.25, "lsdRevLockCoef":0.125, "friction":15}]
    ],

and I'm using the sunburst center diff with a 36/64 split for vtd

    This is a transmission fix
    1. modified the activeDiff.lua and renamed to act4.lua and vtd.lua since the logic is different, and edited the jbeam accordingly.
An acttest.lua is also included for testing, select the "test ACT-4 AWD Transfer Clutch" and compare it to ACT-4 AWD Transfer Clutch", which one is better?
    2. Adjusted the torque converter to make the stall RPM about 2300~2500. Added 4AT drag transmission. Renamed the shiftlogic to prevent possible conflict. Adjusted the upshift RPM to be more realistic.
    3. Added viscous transfercase. All Subaru SVXes use 4AT, however, some Subarus have 5MT paired with a viscous center differential(not computer controlled), they are swappable.\\

To use it, extract the https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rhSvbX24IhVhUeb4VYG6uhC4SVmGE0r6/view?usp=sharing and the zip , then replace the files then zip it again.

Other problems that I don't know how to fix, OP please fix them
    1. The vehicle is currently understeery because of the 200BX jbeam.
200BX is an RWD vehicle, so the suspension is tuned to understeer to counteract the power oversteer. SVX is FWD/AWD so the suspension setting should be more neutral. A good way to do it is to make the front sway bar softer and rear sway bar stiffer
    2. The brake force is insufficient and brake overheating after just two braking attempts.
Please increase the brake force and heat dissipation.

I'll test the awd systems later (on my phone rn and can't open some files), but typically this website is my reference for subaru's electronic awd systems. I looked through the act4.lua file and it looked accurate, didn't look through the vtd one yet. I don't remember what front suspension is being used, but the rear suspension is a pretty modified legran/Wendover converted to multilink and struts with a trailing arm and separated lateral links so the 200bx base is irrelevant for handling.

Do we just put it in the mods folder or do we have to like put something inside theh SVX mod folder?

I love this mod. Now that it can be RWD thanks to default0.0player Its way more enjoyable and fun!
Heres a link of me having fun with it.
Sorry for the low quality, i have no idea how to fix that or what app to use so i just use the built in app screen recorder lol.
