I bought BeamNG because the below video inspired me, but after I bought it, I noticed it never feels like the video when I am driving on my computer. I am not talking about Graphics. Smooth Engine sound, slow driving without pickup or jump or slipping In the video, he using GT Racing Wheel, and is that the reason or is he using a mod or something?
force feed back, which is where some motors in the steering wheel simulate the forces that come back through from the suspension, to give you better "feel" for the road.
Force feedback, idk where to find the definition, but try reading this https://documentation.beamng.com/support/hardware/ with the sub-categories so maybe you will understand
As others pointed out, it's the wheel that makes it possible. BeamNG also recommends the game being played on a wheel or controller. A good entry wheel is a G27. If you want to go lighter, decent controllers exist too but it won't be near the same obviously.
If you need a dirt cheap wheel to get into Sim Racing, get a Logitech Momo, its really cheap and quite practical
g27 is good for any game, and they are cheap used. They also hold the value, also lot of mods to do with it. I had mine for 5-6 years, and still like it. You get a clutch and H shifter too. Stay away from logitech momo, it's not worth it.
In the website I linked you have a list of wheels with some things describing how good they are for the game and potential problems, it's up to date, check that and find a wheel that is good for you
