I like the new pigeon and wigeon but where is the diesel? Is it ever coming back? Pls say its coming back And also, when are you gonna add forced induction or even more engines.
Evening all. I've just updated to 0.23 via Steam and am unable to start the game anymore. I'm getting the following error when attempting to start either the game itself or when attempting to create a support ticket: My previous install did have mods, so these are backed up elsewhere until I can get past this. So far I have followed all the steps to uninstall, clear all folders, perform a clean install, and verify all Steam files (no change to symptoms). Has anyone else found a workaround to this one? Many thanks. I'm looking forward to trying the new Gridmap goodness!
Just a feedback: The Gridmap could have moving stuff, like the next car game (wreckfast) tech demo, as well as interactable triggers.
i like the new pigeon and wigeon cars but would like to see an option to make them 4 wheel drive. rock crawler style
My opinion on new 0.23 update: My spec: Cpu: Ryzen 5 2600 6 cores, 4.10ghz Ram: 16GB, 3000mhz Gpu: Radeon RX 480 8GB Wheel: Logitech G29 with e-bay USB handbrake Monitor: AOC 27" 144hz 1920x1080 I want to say first what a great update and great work from devs. Before I was running on Italy with 6 cars (5 AI + me) on medium-high settings getting around 40-50fps. (60-70fps with 1 car) Now also with AI and now with Car Pooling enabled: -ultra lighting and PostFX -medium textures, shaders and mesh is good 50-60 FPS. (Big UP!) Down like 5-10fps when is 6 cars. Thats very good. AI is very good. Car pooling works now smoothly. Sound is good. (5.1 surround) No problems with FFB. Walking now works. Needed to unnistal some mods: -BRZ (subaru brz) for white tires problem -bmw_pack for car list not loading -RK's Highly Customizable Engines for car not driving and UI is not showing For me this is great improvement for Beam.NG on my system. A long wait for this kind of update. Works very well. Very nicely done devs. Keep up the good work
First of all, I absolutely love this update. It may very well be the best update to ship yet. Massively overhauled graphics, new vehicle, revamped vehicle, a new map for all intents and purposes, and to top it all off pushing my settings to Ultra I can't notice any difference in performance. I haven't experienced any serious bugs either. Seriously, 10/10 update. I did encounter a small bug on the Off road collect scenario. Resetting after completing the scenario auto completes it. Something probably isnt getting reset properly, and it makes sense since you can reset your vehicle without resetting the scenario. Video attached.
FIXED!!! If you get this error on Windows 10: Search for Controlled Folder Access in Settings Click 'Allow an app through controlled folder access' Click 'Add an allowed app', and then click 'Recently blocked app' Click on 'BeamNG.drive.exe' in the list, then close Settings. BeamNG now starts: Have a good one
On the default configuration (by double-clicking the vehicle in the car selector) the wheels are for some reason black/green instead of black/orange
Alright, I figured since the cars aren't finished. Thought maybe common textures like road surfaces might be since presumably they're shared across most levels. Another question though, and I was curious before, are the grid map texture tiles to scale on anything? I feel like before they were ~1m square, now they're much larger. It was kind of nice actually to have the tiles be in some standard measurement for scientific purposes.
Old world editor now instantly crashes game. (Yeah, Im actually using it for river options which new one doesn't have) ^^
Ground grid size is now 4m and walls textures grid is 2m. Larger grid scale helps prevent strobing effects when driving at high speeds.
