Apple M1 is something that has blown my mind, it's fast. I think that it could run BeamNG Drive no problem if it was native on the M1. For example, Minecraft when run natively is sitting around 70-90 fps with high settings (4K) (Render Distance = 16). If I max out the render distance, I get around 30-40fps. This is on a laptop with no fans hooked up to a 4k monitor. It would open this game up to a lot of people as well.

Would be super neat but beam hasnt been ported to macos yet let alone ARM. I see a day when we can play beamng natively on our phones

Even running in emulation layer after emulation layer, the M1 is definitely proving itself quite impressive. They will not port Beam to the M1 directly as that would be an insane amount of work, but as x86 emulation improves, so will the performance on these systems.
