I help with my dad's business from time to time. I currently go college so i cant really get a full time job but as its the holidays I'm trying to get a part time job until college starts again to get some cash.
I'm a software developer. I'm currently at an agency in NJ, but that is poised to change relatively soon. I also do a little bit of freelance work and earn some extra coin playing gigs.
Well uh.. my parents pay me 5 bucks an hour for do random stuff around the house... It's barely a job but it's something. I just spend a week working and got some high quality headphones so it's totally worth it - - - Updated - - - Aww come on. That's good for him. Congratz bro
Trying to make money in various ways being lazy and underage. Like Craiglisting stuff and mining coin. - - - Updated - - - I don't care about people's orientation as long as they have a good personality.
I get paid to do nothing. I also throw money at UCF to "teach" me things I already know so I can get a silly degree I don't really need.
I help my parents with stuff, e.g washing the dishes and I get 10 bucks a week. I also fix the house e.g stripping the paint from the house and then painting it again, get 5 bucks an hour
Got a Draftsman education, basically drawing technical plans of buildings and machines following DIN standards. In the time I was in education, draftsman mostly did only draw the finished plans but did not develop shapes or details on their own, they just made a fancy drawing of what the architect thought was a correct drawing but in the eyes of the draftsman really was just the work of a drunken monkey. Nowadays the job changed a little into a product designer kind of field in which the draftsman might also develop shapes and functions of products. Liked the education but not the work so much. Worked as Gaffer on German b-movies, music videos and advertisements (add a B- to all of them). Only thing you might find is an episode of "Polizeiruf 110" or a music video which title I suppressed deep in my memory as it sucked. You mostly work 3 days, 16 hours a day to shoot the musicvideo of a song and have to listen to the same song over and over again the whole three days. Well paid tho, Gaffers can mostly earn something between 20€ and 60€ per hour in Germany and work 10-18 hours a day, 6 days a week. Many Gaffers won't leave their bed at the morning for less than 28€ per hour tho. Also, much free time between two projects to spend the money.^^ If you ever get a chance to work as crew member on a movie set in the departments Camera, Light, Rigging or even Set-Construction.. Take the chance! Most Jobs in this field are handled over private contacts, means you have to know someone to get a job, at least in my experience. Atm trying to make myself self-employed with two different approaches, as I hate normal jobs and 8 to 5 routine.
