Beam.ng can get boring playing by yourself. Solutions to this like Beam.mp have very bad connection issues and sync across remote devices can be choppy. Imagine just playing Beam.ng with your best friends and seeing who can damage their vehicle the most. Or driving full speed into each other and colliding making your car a crushed cube. I think splitscreen can add much more fun to the game during parties.
It would be hard to program and idk if a pc could handle split screen. It would be amazing though. Literally the one thing I really wish beam had along with wreckfest
i agree beamng NEEDS a splitscreen for those who can only afford 1 gaming pc. its not everyone that can get a 1000$+ computer just to be able to play games. and the excuse its not gonna be possible or gonna be too hard to run is complete BS. ive been able to run beamng with 3 DIFFERENT instances, just so i could add ai on a beammp server. my desktop struggled but thats because it technically had to run beamng 3 times, with each having 5 cars to simulate each. THATS 15 CARS TOTAL!!! but i was still able to play with fluctuating low to mid 20 fps on all 3 instances. BEAMNG CAN RUN SPLITSCREEN IT JUST NEEDS TO BE DONE/PROGRAMMED FIRST
yeah i know the game doesnt right now. just like before 0.23 pbr wasnt supported. if there is enough of a popular demand for split-screen. i would hope the devs would listen and at some point in the development give it a try at making it a reality. its not because its impossible or that they cant. its just they have more prioritizing stuff to work on. i really hope beamng will at some point before V1.0 include split-screen. believe it or not there is still a bunch of people who uses splitscreen and wants it. i still play ps1 ps2 ps3 games in split screen with my friend, and only dream that beamng makes it one day as well.
I know, and i love playing split screen games with my friend a lot, and i think splitscreen is an awesome feature, i was just saying why it isn't there already.
i cant see anywhere in there that i wrote it was gonna be easy. just like any other feature its gonna take some time to develop. thats it.
