Although I have made many Automation vehicles before, I am deciding to release this one as a mod to the public for the first time. Say hello to the Budget Boi! Lore: The so-called "Budget Boi" was a sedan made in the late-2010s to early-2020s by an unnamed North American motor company. As its name suggests, it was built for families and average commuters who were in need of a cheap yet reliable car. Its engine was a Boxer layout with 6 cylinders, it had front-wheel drive, next to no luxury (it was a budget car) and a simple white paint scheme. When it was revealed, however, critics were far less than impressed; they loathed the lack of safety, quality of the parts, its terrible performance, and, worst of all, how quickly it rusted. After quickly declining sales, in late-2021 the unnamed company which sought to create the universal budget vehicle filed for bankruptcy. Although it was a failure, it did get some minor successes in a few films, starred in its own documentary and became a rather popular cult car in the days after its production ceased. Images are below: This is my first mod, so any feedback and constructive criticism is appreciated.
im not even going to ask how you can oversteer in a front wheel drive car but i want to know how. btw congrats on your first mod
Thanks. Another thing to note through is that Automation said that the car oversteers, even though it is a FWD, which should be impossible. I'll change that.
Maybe. I have been making Automation cars for a bit, but I don't know how to makes beaters of stuff multiple trims in the same files.
You create a folder called "budgetboi", in that folder you create a folder vehicles. Then you put the files in there. Here's an example: --- Post updated --- You need to zip everything at the end btw
Thanks, I'll get work on a modpack soon with this knowledge! --- Post updated --- I thought it was cheap, but then I remembered that the SBR has it, and its speed it very high, so I should've put in inline instead. I'll remember that for my next project.
Yeah, it's a Subaru or Porsche engine, it's usually not too pricey too make but pricey to maintain, since it sits very low in the engine bay that makes it difficult to reach engine components.
