What effort? He didn’t make the model, and isn’t editing jbeam. A “model” and “jbeam” is necessary in this game for a well made car mod. The mode needs to be made so it isn’t going to cause issues in crashes, and jbeam so that it drives and crashes like the car would irl
If it's a meshslap it's not supposed to be realistic but to just look decent and somewhat drive. Not every mod has to be made with 100% effort, if people want to make lazy meshslaps that's fine with me, you don't have to download them.
I choose the Prius because it was a free model I found and it's slapped on the Suburst because all the cars that fit the sunburst has already been made into a mod, and I just wanted a good Prius mod to play with lol --- Post updated --- Plus, I want to see what I can do about the hybrid part, if I can, otherwise it'll just be a 1.3L
Why do you criticize the car instead of the content? That's like saying that the satsuma 210 mod is bad because it's slow
i never understood why people tweak out so hard at the sight of a prius, one of the most common cars irl. i think its hilarious tbh
Welp, just found out the irl car has a 1.8L I4, so its basically the sunburst engine lol --- Post updated --- The power combined of the irl car is 136PS, and the sunburst 1.8 is 137, so its suprisingly close I do want to attempt to make a electric motor though
i also like how everyone ignores the Chevy Volt and the Honda Insight which both look just like the Prius.
Making a hybrid seems to be extremely complicated, I don't think you can do it alone, and that it's worth it for a meshslap, but go ahead if you want
honestly, i feel like you should wait for the devs to make some kind of hybrid car, but like what agent said, go ahead if you want
Yep, I tried, didn't work, so I just tuned the engine values and fuel efficiency to seem like it's a hybrid.
They said they won't do one even though it's possible and "fully supported" (meaning you need a ton of LUA code to get it to work)
i find it hard to believe the beamng devs, working on a game all about cars, would throw away the idea of a hybrid, which is a very common type of car nowadays unless you're referring to the automation devs, who said that
