    Hi guys,
I have installed the game today. Please check the screenshots. Highest settings and lowest settings don't make any difference in the fps (which is around 18). On the empty grid map i get around 100 fps with all cars except the moonhawk. With it I get around 25 fps (I don't know what's special about that car). I don't have any problems with other games. I suspect a compatibility issue.
I have amd fx 8350 8-core 4 ghz, amd hd 7970, 4 gb memory and windows 8 pro 32 bit.
    What do you think?

Also where do i get the basic info about modding? Like, where is the editor?

BeamNg runs 1 car per core, and the moonhawk is one of the most CPU taxing vehicles, so what's happening here is that your CPU isn't capable of handling it and your fps drop a lot.

If you press J in that map, do the fps increase? If so, how much?

Press F11 to open the map editor.

You don't buy a new pc when you want to upgrade the OS. He can just upgrade to x64 any time, though having only 4gb of ram...:(

I have upgraded from xp. I didn't get to switch to 64 bit. Microsoft wants me to buy another copy of the same software.

It increases from 18 to 22. With the test map with ramps and stuff it's like 20 to 50.

From that result, your CPU is too slow

You arent in low power mode and don't have any other CPU heavy tasks running? The symptoms are indictive of a CPU bottleneck yet hardware does not match

This is how it looks. The cpu is at 12%. When i turn the physics off it depends on the poly count. For example, if I load a barrel and look it from above i get 250 fps with these settings.

Umm no. I've got a FX 8350 and a HD 7870 and I get like 40fps easy on that same map on max settings with post fx off...

run the game on fullscreen and max settings on that grid map and see how much fps you got (with the pickup)

I did that test. It is 15 and 115 fps for me. and the cpu works at 11 percent. physics is calculated by the cpu, right? I should look for a driver maybe. even the older phenom seems to work.

    - - - Updated - - -

20 fps and the cpu is still at 12%.

As an FX-8320 owner, I disagree with this COMPLETELY. I mean, my old CPU (A8-3850) got around 25 FPS with a Moonhawk. That's a 3 year old budget CPU.

Someone in that thread with that CPU got those results. What are your FPS in grid map with 1 moonhawk?
