So are there any plans to fix the lights? Middle of the day on any map, the taillights are completely blinding with this horrid glow. No other cars are having this issue. I'm using the repository version if that makes a difference since it's too difficult for the devs to add workshop support.
Bruh https://beamng.com/game/game/faq/#is-steam-workshop-support-planned It's not that it's too difficult, it's better if it's not on the steam workshop for the reasons you will see in this link.
"We want to support those of you who didn’t buy the game through Valve’s platform. Non-Steam users also deserve the right to enjoy a good mod repository." And the solution to that is to prevent Steam users from having a better experience? This is the equivalent of a dev reducing max frame rate for all versions of a new game because the last generation of consoles can't run them at that level of performance. You can have both the in-game repository and the Steam Workshop, just like ArmA. "Workshop does not allow for proper moderation and makes it harder for us to ensure mods are working correctly and won’t break the game." There are a metric assload of deprecated or just failure-from-launch mods that do not work or cause other errors on the repository. There are also dozens of mods that require additional mods that can only be found on this website and are not available on the repository itself. So this point holds no water, just like that Pond Bug mod that somehow got approved for the repository despite literally not working at all and only serving as a way for the mod maker to shill his crappy youtube channel. "Our mod repository allows us to easily help modders. Making modders' life easier means more and better mods." How? Are the devs banned from steam or something? This doesn't make a lick of sense. Steam Workshop, as far as I'm aware, has no limit on the number of mods available for a game. ArmA 3 has probably thousands of mods, ranging from little 50kb scripts that change tiny things to entire 10gb full conversion mods, and everything in between. "Our mod repository allows for both automatic and manual mod installation." Yeah so does Steam Workshop. ArmA 3 literally has a gigantic button on the launcher to add non-workshop mods from places like Armaholic. There is absolutely no reason BeamNG devs cannot do the same. --- Post updated --- And? And? I'm using it because I want to. Why are you commenting?
Dude calm down, if you were a modder you would be able to tell that working in this system is infinitely easier than it would be in workshop system, at least here flagging mods as outdated or on hold is a thing so you don't have to deal with thousands of kids yelling at you to update your mods like it seems to happen in Automation, and if they did both workshop support and repo it would become 10000 times more messy and would have even less moderation. I agree that the moderation on the repository has gone way, WAY worse since they hired new people specifically for that, many trash mods that don't work or are stolen get approved, but trust me, it's nowhere near as bad as it could be if there was just workshop support.
Bumping old threads is against the rules. As for the steam workshop i don't understand why it is better than the beamng repository - in my opinion it's easier to find a mod on the repo.
i hope im not the only one but i do not have engine sound and when i go into the cutsomization for the car i get no parts showing thanks naguluna for making the mod
So anyway, does anyone know how to fix the light bug for this mod? I've noticed the glow on most other vehicles but it's really distracting on this one. I quite like the car so I'd be willing to mess around with some files if I had to, but I'm not sure where to start.
Beautiful this mod, it would be nice if in the next updates there would also be the "Italian" version of the Fiat Uno from the 80s / 90s such as the Uno 45 base, 45 Super, ES (Energy Saving), SX, Diesel, Diesel Super, Turbo Diesel etc.
