As far as I know the author generally doesn't mind people updating his mods but in theory it's fine. But the "update" is low effort, all PBR materials copied from another car, broken glass fixed the same way, they literally fixed the drag version by making a custom shorter suspension for it instead of just swapping the wheels for smaller ones like what any sane person would do, and changed some sounds which had been done before in this thread, they didn't touch the enormous amount of issues with the model, parts fitment, panel gaps, textures, reflections, Jbeam, the suspension being extremely inaccurate, broken parts leading to missing configs from older version of the mod, all the police stuff being weird, the complete mess in the files, etc. This mod has to be redone almost from the ground up to be fixed.
If only there were a person who was known for helping remaster mods... Seriously though Agent_Y, please don't feel any pressure to take this on. You're doing a great job with the Maluch and that is the only reason I say this. You do great work, but it's your own, not ours to command. Also, see my post just above your post - they at least say they have perms
Since when am I known for helping remaster mods lol, I'm only helping with 1 mod because it's a car I like, and I wouldn't be able to help with the Mustang since pretty much everything wrong with it is about the stuff I'm bad at: modelling, texturing and suspension Jbeam.
The mod creator doesnt deserve to give permission if he doesnt even update the mod in the first place
What the heck, so now mod creators are forced to spend 100% of their free time to update their mods, even after literally marking them as cancelled or outdated, or else they don't deserve the rights for them????? And if someone makes an amazing mod but stops updating it, it makes them a bad person?? This is wrong on so many levels, YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO RECIEVE UPDATES OF THE MODS YOU USE AS A PLAYER!
Aren't u satisfied that someone has tried to update the mod? And u are just blaming bcs the creator doesn't have time to update that mod. He isn't like u wasting his important time. Shame on u.
I dont think soobie and tsutarja495 gave perms to 2fast bcus most of their mods are updated without perms of the modder and ppl hate them so...
Ok bud. That being said, feel free to make/release your own updates for my older stuff as long as you ask me first.
