i was first thinking of buying euro truck simulator 2 OR automation, but i'm having trouble figuring out which one to get. i have $50 USD and im getting a steam gift card for that amount. help quick
It depends on your interest. If you like driving trucks and delivering things, you should buy ETS2 but if you like making cars, you should buy Automation. I personally like ETS2 more because I think making cars in automation is boring. Now I gotta say something about both before you buy them: ETS2: That's really a good game with high quality graphics. Realistic abilities like refueling your truck, or you should replace the tires after driving so long because they'll be rotted. Also, there are lots of parts to buy to make your truck nicer. You can even buy your own trailer and personalize it in the newer versions. You can install mods on this game. You can listen to your musics when driving if you put them in documents/euro truck 2 (as I remember)/music. In general, good game. But: It can't be your full-time game because after about 1 or 2 weeks of playing, you may get bored because in the higher levels, the routes will be longer (personally I can't play this game over 1.5 hours per day) Long routes make you bored/angry to drive faster than the limit so you might damage the cargo (and losing money when you reach the end of the route) or get ticketed because of the high speed. Earning money in this game is slow, but losing money is very easy. You should spend lots of money to repair your truck (like in real life). Bodys aren't deformable. Automation: I didn't play the Automation yet but I saw some videos about it. If you don't love making things, don't pay attention to this game at all. It may look very interesting at the first time you take a look at this game, but I think that's not a good game and can be used for making mods only. Hope this helps.
Automation though the BeamNG exporter still kinda... sucks. I know it’s very difficult to develop something like that though so no harm intended
