I have 2 observations I forgot to put in my fairly lengthy review: * sometimes after pulling away i noticed there was continued air pressure activity, I think it sounded like the doors. yet the doors were closed. After stopping then opening & closing the doors again, it shut up. I may have pulled away too quickly & confused the sound channels. * the stated power outputs of the higher power variations appear inconsistent - the mid-range show 350hp then the next 400+ but the variants above that still show 400+ - surely these are a lot more (ignoring the JATOs of course). Maybe they should all just be 350 which sounds realistic for a bendy.
350hp barely gets the bendy bus up a hill or up to highway speeds, configs are a tad messy as far as parts go. I was already fed up with the bus and decided to just throw together basic configs and throw it up to the repository. You can play around with various turbo, transmission and differential gearing options yourself by using the parts menu.
Hi i just wanted to let you know that when spawning traffic ai cars will sometimes merge with the back of the bendy bus i hope this is helpful.
Hey lads, how would I go about modding the DT45L by making a new livery for it? Loving the tag bus so far, would be good to have more parts, but would really love to make a skin like our Brisbane Transport tag units here in Brisbane, Australia. I have tried to make the skin and added the coding in the files, but not sure if I am doing it right. I really apologize for the noob s**t.
Pretty much the same way as with base game citybus, just keep in mind the fact it uses a dedicated UV map which you can find in the citybus2 files
Mind if I port my powertrain mod (not on repo yet) to your mod? For the most part it's just custom engines + transmissions w/ tuning plus sounds. I haven't figured how to create different lengths yet. With your permission I might or might not do Youtube demos/reuploads, but I'd give you credit either way.
Sure, fell free to make mods for these busses. Most engines stuff is in the common folder, only DT45L (citybus2) and DT60L (citybus6) have their own engine jbeams, since they use different attachment beams.
It all depends on my motivation since making a proper double-decker coach requires a major redesign as far as body goes... And after modelilng a cabover truck I'm kinda fed up with modelling for now
Thanks! That's helpful to know. Looks like I'll need to port 3 versions of my engine/transmission jbeams. Will try to post a video here when it's up.
