This. Most of the time the author has no idea or maybe plans can change. Sometimes it's just too early in development to tell, or an unforseen problem could halt it for months. That's why "When it's ready" is the default answer because, honestly, thats about the best estimate there is.
That's in the works! Rear suspension is nearly done (based on what I heard) and front suspension is the next priority!

Messed with numbers a bit. Tuned weight from something like 5600 lbs down to a realistic 3400. Since it's a big leap, I worked on making the car not act like rubber, as I quickly discovered was a problem. Going pretty well so far
Completely redid the JBeam for the frame, cut node count to about 80%, more than halved the beam count (around 1200 to 500), and overall its like 20x more stable. I'll make a video showcasing this soon! Also, I'm in the works redoing the undercarriage jbeam... stay tuned. As I have gotten so much better at JBeam, it's time to redo some!
Great, can’t wait to see it! Even though I am a Brit a Gen 6 Nascar would still be so cool for me. Shame there aren’t any Nascar tracks (as far as I am aware of)
There's the Talladega mod! It's from a 2004 game but it's still a track, best track imo for NASCAR racing atm.
There are quite a few stock car racing tracks. You just have to know where to look. There's Talladega which @Solarpower07 mentioned above, there's Paperclip Park, a short track very similar to Martinsville. Hirochi raceway has a little oval that is quite fun to drive around. Grand Valley Speedway has two ovals on the outside of the track. American Road has a huge oval somewhere in it. Utah Extra has a little oval by the highway. There's Agassiz Speedway, but the textures are completely messed up, and ATE Ona was removed from the site.
