A long way back, I recreated the model from the stunt track in Rush 2. I have the .obj file exported from Google SketchUp and a few other texture-related things. Everything is embarrassingly accurately, meticulously scaled from measurements taken in the original game. However, I learned relatively recently that SketchUp is not a great modeler for beam ng. (apparently it has something to do with the number of default collision triangles) I don't have access to a legitimate copy of AutoCAD, and I don't have enough experience in Blender to optimize it myself. I also find the in-game environment creator frustratingly difficult to work with. So to my understanding, to complete it, the following needs to be done: 1) Optimize the model's collision triangles 2) Fill in the center mountain with a traversable (rock crawling) terrain. 3) Fill in the lower level with rocky, rolling hill-type terrain. 4) Confirm all ramp curve shapes drivability. 5) Add black/dark grey volumetric fog to top half of height of map. 6) Set default gravity in-game lower than Earth's, closer to Venus or Mars. 7) Export and upload to forum. I have already chatted with @DrowsySam, @Logan Mikael and @WhistlerXPWhistler7, but if anyone would like to take it over, I've attached the zip file with everything here. If nothing else, the scales and positions of elements are correct, so recreating it might be easier than starting from scratch. My lack of experience and of time to learn will prevent it from ever being released otherwise.
hello chroma i'm back, you could make upload in rush 2 stunt track, but missed this purple ramp here this red ramp has to be painted yellow on the giant yellow ramp put red flags on the giant orange ramp put blue flags the angle of this yellow ramp is medium the ring road texture has to be right in the middle on top of the giant green and purple ramp you have to put the ring road texture the thorn box is all red have to make this small wall in all corners the wall heights are 3 and the stars are 4 or you leave it anyway
maybe the rush 2 stunt track upload should be coming soon, the problem I'm clogged up with threads because of outdated mods and I sent an old beamng drive video of sketchup collisions by DrowsySam
Are you actually telling me to fix inconsequential mistakes on a file I have marked as cancelled? If you are not doing it yourself, and this is more accurately described as a "command", I want to reiterate I have given this project up until I have the patience, time, and focus to learn on my own. This is a hobby not a job. Please stop trying to boss me and others into finishing.
