I dont know if there already is this kind of request, but i want to make meshslap and publish it to community, but i dont want it to be sorted with hq mods, so yeah, meshslap section would actually be pretty cool to have. Also of course i know there are third-party sites, but just no
Can you imagine how much drama something like that could cause? The idea is not bad but the community really hates meshslaps, and clickbait youtubers and kids would only download them, high quality mods would stop getting attention.
it's an understandable idea but this is the forum that has an aneurysm whenever something that isn't dev-quality shows up on the forum so i doubt it'd exactly go too well
Most people literally don't know what "dev qualuty" is lol, they think of WBIMP, the MAN TGS or the Kashira, which are good mods but calling them dev quality is too much, basically every mod that has a ton of hype behind it they think is dev quality. And honestly sometimes it's hard to judge what the standards are, for example the CrashHard 8x8 BigRig has way better textures and Jbeam than the Bolide or the old Pigeon before remaster, but it's way too laggy to even use for most people, so is it dev quality or no? Nobody can really tell.
that would be great for people who want to toy around for modding and for people to upload there mods that at the stage of the mod it is a meshslap so people can toy around with it before it gets put in the mod mod section
