This is a simple mod using the parts configurator in Beam I made for the Moonhawk. I hope you enjoy it. I made no changes to the power. Just the parts used (or not used) to make it drift. I think it drifts well, bit stiff and also is best in drifting at medium to high revs. Enjoy! View attachment 26072
I screwed up and accidentally pressed enter before thread was complete, all complete with download now
Ride height is done by altering BeamSpring, BeamDamp, the limit versions thereof and the precompression for the beams acting as the front shocks, can take some finesse, I find its trial and error. The camber mostly comes from the suspension geometry on most vehicles causing the wheel to gain camber as the hub moves upwards through its suspension travel (jump the covet and watch the rear wheels lose camber, as it lands they gain camber again, this is because the upper wishbones are shorter than the lower wishbones and is a deliberate design feature). However more extreme camber changes can be achieved by altering the precompression on the beams for the upper and lower wishbones to adjust their lengths.
No no no no no no. Muscle cars don't drift, they drag Here's a quick reference: Drift cars (imported from here) Drag cars (imported from here) And a bonus pic: (imported from here)
Well muscle cars can drift http://mustangsdaily.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/01-1969-rtr-x-mustang.jpg But not all of them should be drift cars. But I still like the mod :3
Well, unfortunately my setup has been broken by the Pre-Race update, so can no longer be used. So no longer can the Moonhawk drift. However, if you are running a previous update (0.3.0.5) you can still use it.
