Released Civetta Bolide Facelift Mod 2.0

Ok guys it's a facelift , good or bad, it's your own opinion. Move along now...

 

Let me reiterate what i meant. As a mod im sure you put a lot of effort into it and the parts you made looks to be pretty high quality. but as far as DESIGN goes you could have done so much more than just the lights and front bumpers. for example lets take the ferrari testarossa and F512M. Underneath the are still pretty much the same car but the design has been changed (its a step back imo thats why i didnt say imporved) quite noticably.

The lights have a diffrent and more modern shape, the "hood"(or rather frunk) is diffrently shaped too and features a completely new vent design, the front bumper is radically diffrent and way more modern looking, the turnsignals and foglights have been respahed





while you can see that the sheetmetal of the roof and sides havent changed the rear is radically diffrent with a new rear panel that reintroduces the classic roud taillights again, a new bumper without the black seals, body colored vents, a new diffusor and a 3rd breaklight.


The idea of the facelift is great and the parts as i said look to be well made its such a missed oppertunity to do so much more than slightly change the bumpers and taillights. the bolide itself has many styling issues that are known that could be fixed with this like the weird round front quarterpanels but they arent being fixed or changed.

Its not lazy in execution but lazy in the way you thought of a facelift

Well the mod i released actually creates 3 completely diffrent coupe bodys, adds an inline 6 engine, turbocharging, hs completely diffrent proportions and drives like a diffent car. i dont even remember why we called it a facelift because its very much diffrent than that. we are planning on changing the name anyways

i mean yes its a facelift but he could have done more with the actual *facelifting* part. i really love the turbochargers but they are moreso extra parts rather than being part of a facelift

Mind, guys, I want to release it and keep some content for updates to come. I’d not like it to be 100% full on release, like I plan to add a Targa, maybe some more bumpers, and maybe more. This will just be the 1.0 update. Look at my SBR’s update list.

Also, I only do what I want to do. If I force myself to do something I don’t want to do, I’ll lose motivation to do things I do want to do. It’ll look crap, and the mod/content won’t do well. I only make decent content if I’m motivated.

That rear intake really bothers me with how deep it is and how sudden the transition intake is. Maybe turn the intercoolers so they are closer to the angle of the body like this.

Plus make a new door that has a cut in it to make the intake transition smoother, sorta like the NSX but maybe a little deeper.

This is just my personal opinion, but it feels to "small" if you know what i mean
You should start the intake entry under the mirror, and stretch it to the back.
